Aegina 1828 – 2018

10.06.2018   Ja, es ist möglich, die Insel Aegina im Saronischen Golf nur als Touristenzentrum oder als südlichsten Vorort von Athen zu sehen 🙂 .
Aber die Insel ist noch von ganz anderen Dingen geprägt. Gerade um das Gebäude im Foto drehen sich mehrere Geschichten – die ich in drei längere Kapitel geteilt habe.

  1. Habe mit großem interesse den Bericht über das Waisenhaus 1832 gelesen. Zur Ihrer weiteren Info: auf ww.aeginaportal.gr finden Sie zwei posts vom 9.5.und 21. 5. 2018 über die neue Bewilligung von Renovierungsmaßnahmen, Kostenpunkt 1.881.647,31 €, Soll Museum und Begegnungsstätte werden.
    Über die Belegung des Gefängnisses während der deutschen Besatzung 1941- 1944 enthalten zwei Bücher von A. Fortounas, als Dolmetscher während dieser Zeit auf Ägina tätig, nähere Angaben. Falls Interesse vorhanden, kann ich nähere Details bzw., deutsche Übersetzung liefern.

In order to keep the historical memory of the building alive by means of mild interventions that will respect the initial uses of the individual parts within the framework of the above approved building program Amma submitted to contest the partial reuse of the monument initially as a space for cultural actions – events.

    In this direction the necessary studies of the project “Building and E / M works for the operation of the cultural events hall and periodic exhibitions at Aegina diachronic museum” were elaborated, which were approved with the no.
